Urgent: Paraprofessional: Belmont, CA

Do you enjoy consistent hours in a school-based position? We are seeking a contracted paraprofessional in Belmont, CA!  Apply today if you are interested in working with students in the Special Education program. 

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers by helping to deliver lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide individualized instruction to students.
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce academic skills, assist with assignments, and address any learning difficulties.
• Help maintain a positive learning environment by monitoring student behavior, implementing classroom management strategies, and addressing any disruptions or conflicts.
• Act as a liaison between students, teachers, and parents by relaying information, addressing concerns, and ensuring effective communication channels.
• Assist with administrative duties such as preparing instructional materials, maintaining student records, and performing clerical tasks to support the classroom's needs.

Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
Para Educator License from the Dept. of Education
