*Urgent* Special Education Teachers | Chicago, IL

Position: Special Education Teacher – Multiple positions available
Location: Mundelein, IL

Job Specifics/Responsibilities:

• Full time and Part Time opportunities
• (a few short term opportunities as well!)
• Compensation based on experience starting at $35/hour
• All caseloads available including PreK up to high school.
• School year 2024/2025

The primary duties include providing individualized support and resources to students with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective strategies that promote academic and social-emotional growth for students with disabilities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of special education principles, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Active PEL for the state of IL.
• Most positions require a LBS1 endorsement
