We are hiring for a Paraprofessional ("Para") to provide support and assistance at the high school level. If you are not qualified, please do not apply!
Location: Port Orchard, WA
Dates: ASAP to 6/5/2025
Hours: Full-Time, 6.25 hours per day
Caseload/Details: High School Level Paraprofessional (Experience at the high school level is preferred, followed by middle school)
Number of Positions: 2
Onsite only
Special Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License
• ProACT de-escalation and restraint training
• Paraeducator Certificate Program

Hourly Rate: $20–$24 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in providing individualized instruction
• Support students in classroom activities and assignments
• Assist with de-escalation strategies for students in crisis
• Provide supervision and assist with behavior management
