We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Special Education Teacher to become a valued member of our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you'll be essential in delivering tailored learning opportunities and assistance to students with varying learning requirements.

Caseload / Details:
  • Caseload: 17 students – Secondary Teacher Consultant
  • Full-Time (35 hrs/week)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to track student development.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom community.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education
  • Massachusetts certification/licensure in Special Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
