Position: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: South Bend, IN (Remote/Virtual)
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (2023-2024 school year)

Are you an experienced and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students? Blazerjobs is currently hiring for a virtual SLP position for the 2023-2024 school year in partnership with a school district in South Bend, Indiana. Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to identify and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' specific needs.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students using evidence-based techniques and resources.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies for students.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss student goals and progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure in Indiana as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions.
- Proficient in using virtual therapy platforms and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
- Must be available during regular school hours (Monday to Friday).
