Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening for School Based Assignment: OR Licenses Required

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Special Education team to provide teletherapy services to our our students for the full school year.
 

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Oregon SLP license & valid SLP license in state of residency (if applicable)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Previous experience providing teletherapy services is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
  • Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology.
  • Comfortable working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each student.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services via teletherapy platforms.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' IEP goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
  • Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
  • Stay current with best practices and new technologies in teletherapy and speech-language pathology.

Position Details:

  • Current School Year
  • Full or part time openings available
  • Caseload: K - 12th grade, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
  • Pay Range: $30 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experience
