We are conducting interviews for Special Education Teachers for our School District.
Job Description:
- 2024 to 2025 School Year
- Hourly pay: Starting at $33 hourly and DOE
- Students with Autism and moderate Intellectual Disabilities
- High School classroom
- 38 hours per week
- ONSITE Positions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet students' needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and parents
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Other requirements:
- Must have Teacher Certificate with Learning Disabilities
- May ask about their understanding/knowledge of special education as it relates to Administrative Rules for Special Education with Related IDEA Federal Regulations
