Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs):
    You will implement individualized BIPs designed to address each student’s unique needs. By modifying behaviors and enhancing academic performance, you will help students succeed and thrive in their educational journey.

  2. Collaborate with Teachers and Families:
    Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to create a cohesive support system for each student. Effective communication and teamwork will be key in ensuring that each student receives the resources they need to succeed.

  3. Track and Monitor Student Progress:
    As an RBT, you will track and monitor student progress by documenting both behavioral and academic developments. You will adjust interventions as needed to ensure students are progressing toward their goals.

  4. Create a Positive, Inclusive Learning Environment:
    You will contribute to creating a classroom atmosphere that fosters engagement, inclusivity, and positive behavior. Your goal will be to create a supportive space where all students feel valued and motivated to learn.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient RBT who is passionate about helping students with special needs succeed. The ideal candidate will possess:

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RBT Certification (or the ability to obtain certification in Delaware)
  • National RBT Certification
  • A genuine passion for working with students with behavioral and academic challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, or other developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with a focus on helping students succeed
