We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our dedicated team in Woodland, California for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year. This is a great chance for a skilled and passionate TVI to contribute to the educational development of students with visual impairments while working in a supportive, dynamic school district.

Qualifications for the TVI Position:

  • Master’s degree in Education for the Visually Impaired (or a closely related field).
  • Active California TVI certification.
  • A deep commitment to supporting students with visual impairments and promoting inclusivity in the classroom.
  • Experience with K-12 students who are visually impaired is preferred, but not mandatory.

Job Responsibilities and Details:

  • Full-time position, requiring 37.5 to 40 hours per week for the duration of the 2024/2025 school year.
  • Monday through Friday work schedule with consistent and predictable hours.
  • Onsite role providing direct service to students within the district's schools.
  • Caseload involves K-12 students, offering a variety of educational challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborative working environment, engaging with fellow educators and specialists to support student success.
