Bring your expertise as a Certified Nursing Assistant to support a kindergarten student with significant medical needs in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, contract opportunity spans 32.5 hours per week over approximately two and a half months, with the possibility for extension through the school year.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 32.5 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification required
• Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant working with pediatric or school-aged children preferred
• Comfortable supporting students with physical disabilities, such as those requiring a wheelchair
• Demonstrated ability to respond to high-level medical needs
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, school nurses, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and ongoing assistance to a kindergarten student with high medical needs, including personal care, mobility support, and medication reminders
• Ensure proper use of medical equipment, including wheelchairs and any additional assistive devices
• Monitor and document daily health status and promptly communicate changes to school nursing staff and administration
• Assist with daily classroom routines and transitions, ensuring student participation and safety
• Collaborate proactively with teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment
