Contribute your skills as a Licensed Nursing Assistant and make a daily impact supporting elementary-age students with complex medical needs. This full-time opportunity is set within a dynamic school environment, offering the unique combination of education and healthcare.

Schedule:

• Full-time hours, consistent daytime schedule
• Includes bus riding responsibilities at the start and end of each school day

Qualifications:

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) license required
• Previous experience providing care to children, especially at the 5th-grade level
• Comfortable supporting students with significant medical needs in a 2:1 support ratio
• Willingness to accompany and assist students during bus transportation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families
• Adaptable, compassionate approach to daily tasks

Responsibilities:

• Deliver dedicated, hands-on care and supervision tailored to the medical needs of assigned students
• Provide support throughout the school routine, ensuring student safety and well-being at all times
• Accompany students on bus routes, ensuring a smooth and secure transition to and from school
• Collaborate closely with school staff and healthcare providers to implement and adapt care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all health-related events and interventions

This is an interim assignment, beginning as soon as possible and continuing until a permanent out-of-district placement is arranged for the student. Its an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a school setting while positively influencing students' lives each day.
