Position: Middle School Paraprofessional
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 35 hours/week
Contract Dates: September 2, 2025 – June 5, 2026
Hourly Rate: $20
Employment Type: W-2 with Benefits
Potential for Direct Hire with District After 90 Days

Position Overview:
Join a dynamic middle school team in Andover and make a direct impact on student success. We’re seeking compassionate, reliable, and qualified paraprofessionals to support students in the classroom and beyond. This is a full-time, on-site position that offers steady hours, professional growth, and the potential to be hired directly by the district after 90 days.

Duties Include:

• Provide academic and behavioral support to middle school students

• Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to maintain a productive classroom environment

• Support students in small group and 1:1 settings

• Monitor classroom behavior and assist with transitions and classroom routines

Requirements:
All candidates must be considered “highly qualified” by meeting one of the following:

1. Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam

2. Completion of 60+ college credits (must provide transcript)
