Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Paraprofessionals for a full-time role with school districts in the Austin, TX area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Austin, TX area

• Schedule: Full-time

• Contract: School year with performance-based renewal opportunities

Applicant Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following local and state requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (some districts may require an Associate’s Degree or higher)

• Must meet Texas state paraprofessional certification or be willing to obtain one

• Previous experience in a school setting or with children preferred

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and instructional support to students under the supervision of certified teachers

• Assist students with assignments, activities, and classroom routines

• Support students with special needs, including 1:1 assistance when necessary

• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and development
