K-12 School District Seeking Special Education Teacher Assistant

Blazer Jobs is now hiring a full-time Paraprofessional for a school-based role in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. This is a meaningful opportunity to assist in the academic and personal development of students in need of additional educational support.

Position Details:

• Full-time, school hours

• On-site, K–12 school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional assistance under the direction of certified teachers

• Support students with special education needs in inclusive and separate settings

• Document student performance and behavior as needed

• Promote independence and engagement among students

• Assist with implementing IEP accommodations and modifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• At least two years of postsecondary education (60 credits) or an associate degree

• Pennsylvania Paraeducator Credential preferred

• Minimum one year of experience in an educational or childcare role

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
