National Heritage Academies is hiring a Para for our K-8 academy in Grosse Ile, MI. This role starts on August 26, 2024, and will run through June 13, 2025.
Job Details:
- Hours: 35 hours/week
- Caseload/Details: 1:1 or small group support for students with academic needs
- Professional Development: Candidates may participate in training days for a $100/day stipend.
Special Requirements:
- Unofficial transcripts with a minimum of 60 semester hours; or
- Valid MI Teaching Certificate; or
- ETS Parapro Assessment - A passing score of 460; or
- College Board SAT – Evidence-based reading and writing-480, mathematics 530 on or after 3/5/16. Workkeys is acceptable if taken before 6/1/2017.
Pay: $15 - $20/hour, depending on experience.
