Location: Houston, TX
Details:
  • Part Time: 6 hours a week
  • Next School Year- 25/26
  •  Caseload:
  • 1:1 paraprofessional behavior to work with a student at his dayhab on post-secondary goals (employability, daily living)
Job Details:
  • Support teachers with classroom setup, lesson preparation, and handling administrative tasks.
  • Ensure students are engaged and comprehend lesson material during classes.
  • Assist in implementing individualized learning plans and targeted interventions.
Preferred Background:             
  • State Licensure: Educational Aide I, II or III
  • Source: 19 T.A.C §231.751
  • CPI trained AND experience with behavior/mental health.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to student success.
