Hours: Full-Time | 30 hours/week | Monday–Friday | 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM
Compensation: $27/hour
Worksite: Onsite | One location – must confirm commute feasibility

Position Overview:
We’re seeking experienced Paraprofessionals to join a high-need, intensive summer program supporting students ages 7–21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and severe behaviors in Warren, just 30 minutes from Newark. This is a hands-on, physically involved role supporting students across a range of functional and behavioral needs—ideal for someone experienced, patient, and ready to make a real difference.

Caseload Details:

• Students ages 7–21 with ASD

• Behaviors may include: biting, kicking, hitting, emotional dysregulation

• Students may have toileting and self-sufficiency needs

• You must be open to working with all age groups — no selective assignments

• Flexibility is essential: caseloads may change depending on program needs

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working with behavioral needs is required

• Must be comfortable with physical behaviors and willing to restrain students when necessary (per protocol)

• Must be willing to assist with toileting for younger students

• Must be comfortable swimming with students as part of their physical therapy

• Paras only – RBTs will not be accepted

• Must be full-time (no part-time accepted)

• Must confirm commute to Warren, NJ before being presented
