Blazer Jobs is currently seeking qualified and experienced Paraprofessionals for a full-time position in the North Platte, Nebraska area. We are conducting interviews now for candidates who are passionate about making a positive impact in education.

Position Overview:
As a Paraprofessional, you will support teachers and students in the classroom, providing instructional assistance, behavioral support, and contributing to a safe, effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in classroom instruction and management

• Support students with special needs by implementing IEP accommodations

• Provide one-on-one or small group academic support

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• Assist with classroom preparation and cleanup

• Support students with behavioral, emotional, and physical needs as directed

Requirements:
Candidates must meet all local and state requirements for paraprofessionals in Nebraska, which typically include:

• High school diploma or GED

• Completion of an Associate's Degree or two years (48 semester credit hours) of postsecondary education; OR

• Successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment (as required by many Nebraska districts)

• Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to student success and well-being
