About the Role:
BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Physical Education Teacher to join a Pennsylvania high school for the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will bring strong classroom and behavioral management skills, experience in urban school settings, and the ability to engage students in meaningful, standards-based instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for courses taught.

• Create lesson plans aligned with current Pennsylvania state and district standards.

• Drive instruction through formative assessments and differentiated teaching strategies.

• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.

• Monitor and support student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to meet the needs of all learners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (to qualify for an emergency teaching permit if needed).

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification in Health and Physical Education or eligibility to obtain.

• Must be able to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances.

• Previous school-based teaching experience required.

• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills.

• Experience working in an urban school environment preferred.
