Adaptive Physical Education Teacher (APE) | San Francisco, California

In this itinerant role, you'll have the chance to work with diverse learners across multiple sites, tailoring physical education experiences to each student's individual needs. Qualifications:

• Valid California teaching credential required for Adaptive Physical Education.
• Strong understanding of adaptive curricula, instructional strategies, and IEP development.
• Experience in providing direct services and collaborating on educational teams.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working across multiple school sites.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement adaptive physical education programs for students with varying abilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and therapists to create inclusive and effective learning environments.
• Travel between school locations within the district as an itinerant team member.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain progress documentation aligned with district standards.
