Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Audiology
• ASHA certification (waiver available for current holders)
• Active state license to practice audiology
• State license for fitting and repairing hearing aids
• Successful passage of the relevant state-required exam
• Minimum of five years experience in school settings or equivalent
• Able to complete fingerprinting and background checks as required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive hearing evaluations and follow-up services to students across PK-12th grade
• Deliver ongoing support and troubleshooting, working closely with itinerant teachers and staff
• Fit and repair hearing aids; manage hearing assistive technology as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering expertise on audiology-related accommodations
• Coordinate scheduling for students bussed to main locations, with occasional travel to other campuses throughout the district
