Audiologist Needed for Schools

Now Hiring: Full-Time School-Based Audiologist

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | School District Position | Full-Time

Blazer Jobs, in partnership with reputable school districts in the Fort Worth, TX area, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Audiologist for a full-time school-based position. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting students with hearing needs and contributing to their academic success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

To be considered, applicants must meet all local and state requirements for practicing as a school-based Audiologist in Texas, including:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution

• A current Texas license to practice Audiology issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

• A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (preferred but not required)

• Eligibility to work in public schools, including completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting

• Experience in educational or pediatric settings is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations for students

• Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, special education teams, and parents to support student outcomes

• Recommend and assist in the selection and use of hearing aids, FM systems, and auditory technology

• Monitor student progress and document hearing-related needs and accommodations

• Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure compliance with IDEA regulations

• Serve as a resource for staff on hearing loss, communication strategies, and assistive technology

• Travel between school sites within the district as needed
