Audiologist School Audiologist - Irvine, CA

Make an impact supporting students communication access as a school-based Audiologist in the vibrant community near Irvine, CA. This contract opportunity spans from mid-December through early June 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. What Youll Need:

• Active California Audiology license
• Experience in assessments and reporting for students with hearing loss and Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD)
• Ability to develop and support IEPs, IFSPs, and 504 plans, participate in related meetings, and suggest appropriate accommodations
• Proficiency in managing, ordering, and troubleshooting HAT/FM systems and amplification equipment
• Comfort consulting with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within the district during school hours

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and prepare detailed evaluation reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, supporting individualized educational plans (IEPs, IFSPs, 504s)
• Recommend and implement hearing accommodations and interventions for students
• Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain hearing assistive technology (HAT/FM) devices and hearing aids
• Educate and collaborate with teachers, families, district staff, and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) team to foster student success
• Support diverse age groups, adapting services to meet a variety of student needs
