Schools Audiologist Needed!

Now Hiring: Full-Time School Audiologist

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | School-Based | Contract Position

This full-time, school-based position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families to support hearing health and accessibility in the classroom.

Qualifications & Certification Requirements:

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet all state and local requirements for school-based audiology services in Pennsylvania, including:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program

• A valid Pennsylvania Audiologist License issued by the PA State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (preferred)

• Completion of all PA Department of Education clearances, including:

  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance

  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check

  • Child Abuse History Clearance

• School-based or pediatric audiology experience (preferred but not required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing screenings, diagnostic assessments, and evaluations for students

• Collaborate with IEP teams to support students with hearing impairments

• Recommend and manage assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and FM systems

• Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and school staff regarding hearing loss and its educational impact

• Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP development and compliance

• Travel to multiple school sites within the district as needed
