Step into a vital role supporting students and staff as a school-based BCBA/Autism Specialist in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, onsite contract position runs through June 2027 and involves traveling between four school sites, providing specialized behavioral support and expertise to help students with autism thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification (please include a screenshot of current certification with your application)
  • Demonstrated school-based experience as a BCBA or Autism Specialist is highly preferred
  • Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and creating comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Proficient in guiding teachers and paraprofessionals on effective behavior strategies
  • Comfortable supporting autism classrooms and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Able to reliably travel between multiple school locations
  • Prepared to complete a drug screen, fingerprinting, and CORI/background check as conditions of employment

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultative support on behavior management and intervention across four school sites
  • Complete FBAs and develop, implement, and monitor BIPs for students with autism
  • Mentor and coach educational staff in classroom settings, fostering best practices in autism support
  • Work closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to promote positive student outcomes
  • Maintain clear communication regarding absences and ensure timely reporting
