Overview:
East Aurora School District 131 is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support our elementary autism program. This role focuses on providing behavior support services, collaborating with staff, and developing intervention plans to enhance student success.
Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Provide direct support and consultation to staff working with students with autism.
Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure consistent implementation of strategies.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Train and support school staff in behavior management techniques and data collection.
Requirements:
Current BCBA certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices for students with autism.
