Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for full-time positions within school districts in the Chicago, Illinois area. We are seeking passionate professionals committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of students through evidence-based behavioral practices and support.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered:
Hold current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Hold or be eligible for an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Support Personnel Endorsement – Behavior Analyst (if required by the district)
Pass all required Illinois and federal background checks
Meet state and district-specific compliance requirements including TB test, fingerprinting, and drug screening
Possess strong communication and collaboration skills
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Provide direct and consultative behavioral services to students
Train and support school staff on behavior strategies and implementation
Collaborate with special education teams, administrators, and families
Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as needed
Ensure compliance with IEP goals and documentation requirements
