Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for full-time positions within school districts in the Chicago, Illinois area. We are seeking passionate professionals committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of students through evidence-based behavioral practices and support.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered:

  • Hold current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Hold or be eligible for an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Support Personnel Endorsement – Behavior Analyst (if required by the district)

  • Pass all required Illinois and federal background checks

  • Meet state and district-specific compliance requirements including TB test, fingerprinting, and drug screening

  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral services to students

  • Train and support school staff on behavior strategies and implementation

  • Collaborate with special education teams, administrators, and families

  • Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as needed

  • Ensure compliance with IEP goals and documentation requirements
