About the Opportunity:

This is a full-time contract role in a supportive educational environment where your skills in behavioral assessment and intervention will directly impact student success. As part of our special education team, you’ll collaborate with school staff, provide guidance to RBTs and paraprofessionals, and help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.


What You’ll Need to Qualify:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Meet Illinois state requirements to work in a school setting (Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Support Personnel may be required, depending on district policies)
  • Must pass a background check and any district-mandated onboarding requirements
  • Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred

Typical Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

  • Collaborating with educators, families, and district staff to implement positive behavior strategies

  • Supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and support staff

  • Monitoring student progress through data collection and analysis

  • Supporting compliance with IEPs and federal/state special education laws

  • Assisting with staff training and classroom consultation
