Bring your expertise in behavioral analysis or special education to make a meaningful impact in multiple school communities for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract-based opportunity is perfect for dedicated BCBA-certified professionals, special education teachers with a tier 3 or 4 license, or school social workers driven to support student success through evidence-based behavioral interventions.

In this position, youll collaborate closely with another Behavior Intervention Specialist and a Special Education Administrator. Youll provide consultation and support across 2-3 school sites. Your thoughtful, flexible approach will help design and implement individualized education plans, apply de-escalation techniques, and support staff training to foster positive learning environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification, tier 3 or 4 Minnesota teaching license in Special Education, or valid School Social Worker credentials
  • Deep understanding of positive behavioral interventions and supports within school settings
  • Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Collaborative, flexible communication style
  • Calm, effective crisis management skills
  • Commitment to compliance with all district and state-required practices
  • Willingness to provide training and coaching to educational staff
