Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with significant social and emotional needs in a dynamic middle school environment. This full-time position centers on the Pyramid Program, which offers integrated special education and therapeutic services within a structured setting in a general education school. Youll be relied upon to use your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful difference for students requiring intensive support.

This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of February, serving as leave coverage. Ideal candidates can start promptly and shadow the outgoing BCBA throughout December to ensure a smooth transition. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with occasional after-school meetings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and current BCBA licensure required
  • Previous experience in school-based or special education settings preferred
  • Strong background in behavioral interventions and data-driven programming
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee behavioral plans tailored to students unique needs
  • Provide direct support to students within the Pyramid Program
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, related service providers, and families
  • Offer ongoing staff training on implementing behavioral strategies
  • Collect, analyze, and report on behavioral data to monitor progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating supportive, inclusive learning environments
