Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Garland, TX

Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to an impactful, full-time contract role supporting students across multiple school sites near Garland, TX! This on-site opportunity allows you to make a difference within schools by conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), providing staff training, and supervising RBTs. In response to the districts significant disproportionality, you will partner with educators to improve outcomes for both general and special education studentshelping shape positive school environments throughout the academic year.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, itinerant role (traveling between assigned schools based on district needs)
• Contract opportunity beginning ASAP through May 28, 2027
• Work hands-on with diverse age groups in both general and special education settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to share best practices

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active TX BCBA license required
• Previous school-based experience preferred for immediate success
• Able to provide both assessment and practical staff training in a school environment
• Comfortable supervising and supporting Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
• Clear and timely communication skills
• Must complete TEA fingerprinting unless already cleared for Texas public schools (results may take up to 7 days; eligibility contingent on clearance)

Responsibilities:

• Write FBAs and behavior intervention plans for a range of student needs
• Deliver targeted training to instructional and support staff
• Supervise and mentor RBTs across school sites
• Consult and collaborate on best practices in behavior analysis within schools
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
