Youll collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate success for students with autism through evidence-based practices.

What Were Looking For:

  • Active BCBA certification (submission of screenshot required)
  • Proven experience as a school-based BCBA or Autism Specialist (preference given to those with prior school-based experience)
  • Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and writing comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teachers and paraprofessionals in implementing effective behavior strategies
  • Comfortable supporting autism classrooms and collaborating across diverse school teams
  • Reliable transportation for traveling between four school sites
  • Prepared to complete all necessary background checks and comply with fingerprinting and drug screening requirements
  • Punctuality essential; timely arrival and departure required
  • Professional communication in the event of illness or absence

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavior consultation and support to students and school staff
  • Complete FBAs and develop individualized BIPs for students
  • Offer ongoing classroom coaching to ensure fidelity of behavioral interventions
  • Mentor and train teachers and support staff on autism-specific and behavioral best practices
  • Foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere among staff and multidisciplinary teams
