Key Qualifications:

  • Active state license in a related discipline: valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license issued by the Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB)
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (nationally certified) or currently in the process of obtaining certification
  • Experience performing behavioral assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, educators, and community partners
  • Knowledge of state and district-specific requirements preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough behavioral assessments for students, gathering and analyzing data to identify needs
  • Provide expert analysis and interpretation of assessment results to parents, school staff, and outside providers
  • Develop and recommend evidence-based intervention strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Collaborate with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams and participate in student support meetings
  • Deliver training, consultation, and support to educators and staff regarding behavior management techniques
