Key Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification and appropriate licensure
  • Experience working with students requiring intensive behavioral and emotional support, ideally in a school setting
  • Strong collaborative skills for consulting with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Excellent problem-solving, organization, and communication abilities
  • Willingness to participate in meetings occasionally held after regular school hours

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based behavioral analysis, assessment, and intervention for students in the Pyramid Program
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans tailored to academic and social-emotional goals
  • Provide leadership, training, and consultation to staff on best practices in behavioral support
  • Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data to inform individualized programming
  • Foster a positive and structured environment conducive to learning and growth
  • Engage families and caregivers as partners in supporting student success

This is a fantastic contract role covering a leave through the end of February, with the flexibility to begin early and observe the current BCBA until the transition in December. Youll be working 40 hours weekly, from 7:45am to 3:15pm at a centrally located middle school in Frederick County.
