Make a meaningful impact supporting students and staff during the 2026-2027 academic year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working with a K-12 caseload. This on-site, district-wide contract opportunity spans from September 9, 2026, through June 16, 2027, near Olympia, WA. You will play an essential role in fostering a positive learning environment by providing expert guidance and supervision.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), with active licensure in Washington State, or willingness to obtain before the start date
  • Familiarity with school-based behavioral services across elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Prior experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Ability and interest in supervising Behavioral Support Assistants (BSAs)
  • Successful completion of OSPI fingerprinting (or intent to complete prior to hire)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for district-wide collaboration

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments for students in K-12 settings
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct and consultative support to school staff on behavioral interventions
  • Supervise and mentor Behavioral Support Assistants, ensuring fidelity to intervention plans
  • Participate in data collection, progress reporting, and IEP meetings as needed

This is an in-person opportunity; remote/virtual work is not available per district requirements.
