Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Osseo, Minnesota

This full-time, onsite Behavior Intervention Specialist position is set for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning with a training week in late August and concluding in June. Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed BCBA, Special Education Teacher (Tier 3 or 4 required), or School Social Worker
• Experience with behavior intervention, functional behavior assessments, and positive behavior supports
• Demonstrated ability to consult, communicate, and collaborate with educational teams
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
• CPR/First Aid and crisis intervention certifications (preferred)
• Strong adaptability, calm demeanor in crisis, and data-driven approach
• RBTs are not eligible for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult on and implement individualized positive behavior interventions and supports
• Conduct functional behavior assessments to inform student plans
• Reinforce positive behaviors, apply de-escalation strategies, and redirect inappropriate actions
• Support development and application of individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with district, state, and federal standards
• Provide ongoing training to staff regarding behavioral supports and recommendations
• Ensure safety and compliance with district policies and handbooks
• Utilize data to inform planning and interventions for student success
• Travel between 2-3 assigned school sites (locations based on district consideration)
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education
