Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time school-based contract position in the Plano, TX area. This role focuses on supporting students with special needs through the development and implementation of behavioral strategies that promote educational success.

Performance-based contract renewals may be available for the following school year.

Requirements:

Candidates must meet all Texas state and local qualifications, including:

• Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field

• Texas licensure as a Behavior Analyst through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet school district onboarding requirements

• Prior experience working in school or pediatric settings is highly preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

• Implement behavior support strategies for students with autism, emotional disturbances, or other behavioral needs

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary IEP teams

• Provide ongoing coaching and training to school staff and paraprofessionals

• Monitor progress through data collection and analysis to inform interventions

• Offer family consultation and support as appropriate

• Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff if applicable
