Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Position Type: Full-Time | School-Based | Contract

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Scottsdale, AZ area. This is a rewarding school-based role supporting students, educators, and families through expert behavior intervention strategies.

Contract renewal is based on performance, and additional opportunities may be available within the district for the following school year.


Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following local and state qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field

  • Must meet Arizona Department of Education licensure requirements for working in a school setting (or ability to obtain)

  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety

  • Strong knowledge of behavior intervention principles and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)

  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

  • Work directly with students, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities

  • Provide ongoing support and training to paraprofessionals, teachers, and school staff

  • Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress and make data-driven decisions

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and district personnel to ensure best practices in behavior support

  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), if applicable
