Location: Tallassee City Schools – Tallassee, AL
School Year: August 7, 2025 – May 21, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday


Position Overview:
Tallassee City Schools is seeking a full-time BCBA to provide behavioral support across multiple elementary school campuses located within close proximity (within 0.5 miles of each other). This is a collaborative role with additional district BCBAs available to assist in implementation and planning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

  • Provide training and coaching to school staff on evidence-based strategies

  • Monitor implementation fidelity and student progress

  • Collaborate with other BCBAs, educators, school psychologists, and families

  • Support IEP teams by contributing behavioral expertise and documentation

  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards and data-driven practices in alignment with BACB guidelines


Requirements:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Alabama (if applicable)

  • Experience supporting elementary-aged students preferred

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Ability to work on-site at multiple school locations daily


Additional Information:

  • Start Date: August 7, 2025

  • End Date: May 21, 2026

  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday

  • Onsite only – must be able to travel between local schools daily
