Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) ready to help students thrive? We are currently hiring a full-time RBT to work in a school-based setting in Coventry, RI. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your ABA expertise to provide critical support to students, help them achieve academic success, and promote positive behavioral change.


Position Overview

  • Location: Coventry, Rhode Island

As an RBT in Coventry, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), provide direct ABA therapy, track student progress, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure student success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Execute individualized interventions to address behavioral and developmental challenges

  • Provide Direct ABA Support: Lead 1:1 and group therapy sessions focused on behavior, communication, and social skills

  • Monitor and Report Data: Track student progress through consistent data collection and share updates with the BCBA and school team

  • Collaborate with Teachers & Families: Work closely with school staff and families to ensure a consistent approach to behavior management across settings

  • Support Positive Behavior: Promote a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment for students


Required Qualifications

  • RBT certification (or the ability to obtain certification in Rhode Island)

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in ABA, psychology, special education, or a related field

  • Familiarity with ABA data collection tools (e.g., Catalyst, CentralReach)

  • Previous experience working with students who have IEPs or in a school setting
