As a school-based RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and provide direct ABA therapy to students. Responsibilities include:
Implement ABA-Based Behavior Intervention Plans: Reduce problem behaviors and teach positive, functional alternatives.
Provide 1:1 and Small Group ABA Therapy: Support students' academic, behavioral, and emotional growth.
Collect and Record Behavioral Data: Document session outcomes to track progress and treatment effectiveness.
Collaborate with Educators and Families: Coordinate with teachers, therapists, and parents for consistent behavioral support.
Promote Inclusion and Positive Behavior: Contribute to structured, inclusive classroom environments.
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or willingness to become certified
High school diploma or GED
Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or behavioral challenges
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a collaborative, school-based team setting
Background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), psychology, education, or related fields
Familiarity with ABA data collection tools (e.g., CentralReach, Catalyst)
Prior experience working with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or in special education settings
