Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join a partner school district in the Houston, Texas area for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, school-based position working directly with students in a special education setting.

Required Credentials:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet all Texas state licensure and certification requirements, including:

  • Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Compliance with Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) requirements for behavior technicians

  • Ability to pass a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) background check, fingerprinting, and any other district-mandated clearances


Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school-based or clinical special education setting

  • Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans and collecting behavioral data

  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA

  • Provide direct support to students in one-on-one or group settings

  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress

  • Support classroom behavior management strategies

  • Collaborate with the IEP team and participate in relevant meetings and training

  • Maintain professionalism, ethical standards, and confidentiality at all times
