Are you a compassionate and driven Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) looking to help students thrive in the classroom? We are actively hiring a full-time RBT to provide school-based behavioral support in Federal Heights, CO. In this role, you’ll work directly with students to implement ABA therapy strategies, support their emotional and academic growth, and contribute to a positive school environment.


Job Summary

You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver individualized behavior intervention plans, track student progress, and collaborate with educators and families to promote student success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Deliver structured interventions tailored to individual student needs

  • Provide Direct ABA Support: Conduct 1:1 and small group sessions to promote communication, behavior regulation, and academic engagement

  • Monitor Progress: Collect accurate behavior data and contribute to the evaluation of student outcomes

  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with teachers, BCBAs, and school support staff to create cohesive support systems

  • Promote Inclusive Learning: Help maintain a safe, structured, and respectful classroom environment


Minimum Requirements

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or ability to obtain certification in Colorado

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities or behavioral needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well in dynamic, team-based school settings


Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or degree in psychology, education, or a related field

  • Experience in school settings, particularly with students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Familiarity with ABA data collection tools (e.g., CentralReach, Catalyst)
