Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives? Join our school-based team in Mount Vernon, OH, and help foster a supportive environment for students' academic, social, and emotional success.
In this role, you'll provide individualized behavior interventions, collaborate with teachers and families, and contribute to the overall growth of students in a positive and nurturing school setting.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs): Evaluate student behavior, identify challenges, and create tailored interventions
Develop & Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Design customized plans to promote academic and social success
Monitor & Collect Data: Regularly track, assess, and analyze behavior data to ensure the effectiveness of interventions
Collaborate with Educators & Families: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to implement strategies and support student growth
Provide Staff Training: Train and coach school staff on implementing behavior management strategies
Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
Certification: Active BCBA certification (Behavior Analyst Certification Board required)
Experience: Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required
Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a focus on student success
