Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Oakhurst, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Oakhurst, CA. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide one-on-one support and implement behavior intervention plans for students with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role involves working directly with students to foster their communication, social, and adaptive skills, while promoting a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on students’ progress and behavior during sessions.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and other techniques to encourage desired behaviors.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ learning and development.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and any necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
  • Assist in preparing materials and activities that support students' goals and learning experiences.
  • Uphold the ethical standards and practices outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school district policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred).
  • Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
