Now Hiring: Behavior Intervention Specialist (High School Level)

Location: Chavez High School – Phoenix, AZ
Contract Dates: August 4, 2025 – May 22, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
Setting: Onsite Only

A Phoenix School District is seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Intervention Specialist to support high school students with significant behavioral needs for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position located at Chavez High School.

Caseload Overview:

• Caseload of up to 30 high school students

• Responsibilities include student observation, data collection, and developing recommendations for Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)

• Collaborate and consult with special education staff to implement behavior intervention strategies

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field

• Valid certification in Special Education, Psychology, or Social Work

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with high school students exhibiting significant behavioral challenges

• Proficient in conducting FBAs and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

• Strong collaboration and consultation skills
