Behavior Intervention Specialist | Phoenix AZ | 25-26 SY

We are conducting interviews for a Behavior Intervention Specialist working with autistic students and other intellectual disabilities for the 2025-2026 school year!

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Job Details: 

• Start date: August 4, 2025

• End date: May 22, 2026

• Full-time | Onsite

• Travel stipends available

• Hourly Pay rate starting at $35 and up

• Caseload: High School | 30 students

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a caseload of up to 30 high school students

• Conduct observations, collect behavioral data, and write FBAs

• Design and support implementation of individualized behavior plans

• Partner closely with Special Education staff to create cohesive strategies

• Be a trusted behavior resource and leader within the school community

What You Bring:

• Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education

• Arizona certification/license in a related field

• 3+ years of experience with high school students who have challenging behaviors

• Demonstrated strength in conducting FBAs and applying behavior plans

• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
