This BCBA position involves working a set number of hours with students of various ages, many of whom are on the Autism spectrum or have other behavioral issues. The role requires collaborating with teachers to develop IEPs and possibly supervising RBTs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to successfully work with these students and ensure progress towards their individual goals.
Job specifics:
- BCBA: Summer and New School Year for Portland Districts
- 35 hours per week
- K-12 Caseload, District Wide
- State Endorsement Preferred
- Requires expert knowledge of techniques needed to successfully complete effective Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), function-based interventions, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Must have exceptional knowledge in the use of assessment and assessment data to inform instruction and prescribe work plans for individual students
Requirements:
- Master's degree in School Psychology, SPED, or similar
- Schools experience preferred
- Must hold National BCBA Certification
