Position Overview

As an RBT in Roselle, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized ABA therapy for students. Your role will be essential in addressing behavioral needs, supporting academic progress, and fostering social development. You’ll also collaborate with school teams to ensure that interventions are carried out consistently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Work under the direction of a BCBA to execute customized BIPs that address student behavioral challenges and support academic success.

• Deliver Direct ABA Therapy: Provide 1:1 and group ABA therapy to help students learn new skills and overcome obstacles in both individual and group settings.

• Monitor Progress & Collect Data: Track and document student progress by collecting data to analyze the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies when necessary.

• Collaborate with School Teams: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create a cohesive and supportive environment for students.

• Maintain a Positive Learning Environment: Contribute to creating a structured and welcoming classroom atmosphere where students feel safe and empowered to learn.

Qualifications

Required:

• RBT certification (or willingness to obtain certification in New Jersey)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral or developmental challenges

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced school-based setting

Preferred:

• Background in ABA, psychology, or special education

• Familiarity with ABA data collection systems (e.g., Catalyst, CentralReach)

• Experience with students who have Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or other behavioral needs
