We’re seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join a dedicated team in Tampa, FL. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with students to implement individualized ABA-based interventions and promote positive behavioral growth. As an RBT in a school-based setting, you’ll provide direct behavioral support under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work with students in both one-on-one and group settings, helping them achieve behavioral and academic goals through proven ABA strategies.
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to students’ needs
Deliver 1:1 and group ABA therapy to students within the classroom
Record and track behavioral data to monitor progress
Assist students in improving communication, social, and self-regulation skills
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure consistent support
Foster a positive and structured classroom environment
Required:
RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification in Florida
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral or developmental challenges
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay organized and flexible in a dynamic school setting
Preferred:
Background in ABA, psychology, or special education
Familiarity with behavior data collection tools (e.g., Catalyst, CentralReach)
Previous experience in a school-based or clinical environment
