We’re seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join a dedicated team in Tampa, FL. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with students to implement individualized ABA-based interventions and promote positive behavioral growth. Job Overview

As an RBT in a school-based setting, you’ll provide direct behavioral support under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work with students in both one-on-one and group settings, helping them achieve behavioral and academic goals through proven ABA strategies.

Core Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to students’ needs

• Deliver 1:1 and group ABA therapy to students within the classroom

• Record and track behavioral data to monitor progress

• Assist students in improving communication, social, and self-regulation skills

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure consistent support

• Foster a positive and structured classroom environment

Qualifications

Required:

• RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification in Florida

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral or developmental challenges

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to stay organized and flexible in a dynamic school setting

Preferred:

• Background in ABA, psychology, or special education

• Familiarity with behavior data collection tools (e.g., Catalyst, CentralReach)

• Previous experience in a school-based or clinical environment
